Medical Outreach in Collaboration with RCCG Dominion Embassy – Osogbo, Osun State

The Benson Adeyemi Foundation (BAF), in partnership with the RCCG Dominion Embassy in Osogbo, organized a medical outreach program to provide free health services to church members and the surrounding community. This initiative is part of The Purple Initiative, BAF’s commitment to improving health outcomes by bringing essential medical care directly to underserved populations.

Objectives

The outreach aimed to improve community health by offering basic medical screenings, consultations, and free medications. It also sought to strengthen collaboration with faith-based organizations to expand healthcare access to a wider audience.

Activities

The outreach was held over a five-hour period from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and was staffed by a dedicated team consisting of one doctor, six nurses, one pharmacist, one media representative, and five volunteers.

Participants underwent a simple but effective process, beginning with registration and followed by blood pressure checks, random blood sugar tests, consultations with the doctor, and dispensing of necessary medications free of charge.

Outcomes and Impact

The outreach successfully served 62 beneficiaries, comprising 35 females and 27 males, aged between 5 and 49 years.

Community members expressed deep appreciation for the services provided, acknowledging the positive impact on their health and the convenience of receiving care in a familiar setting. The collaboration with RCCG Dominion Embassy was instrumental in ensuring strong attendance and smooth program execution.

Conclusion

The RCCG Dominion Embassy medical outreach reflects BAF’s ongoing commitment to delivering essential healthcare services through strategic partnerships. By working with faith-based organizations, BAF continues to reach communities that might otherwise have limited access to medical care, improving lives and fostering stronger community health awareness.
